Will the TPMS from my steel wheels work on the new wheels I bought for my Mazda 3?

I have a 2011 Mazda 3 and they currently have the stock 16" steel wheels with TPMS. I bought a set of OEM Mazda snowflake wheels that don't come with TPMS. My question is, if I transfer the TPMS from the steel wheels to the snowflake wheels, will there be any problems?
