Medical school application?

I know good grades and a High MCAT score, but what else would catch the eye of medical school.. What kind of volunteer work will help me stand out.. should i join a high elite club.. I currently volunteer at meals on wheels, and i job shadow at my local hospital.. That isn't enough for me.. what else can i do to be the best..or at least close to one.
