Iam visiting Egypt in July 2011, how much do things cost in Egyptian pounds?

Do you have any good tips like use US$ not GBP� I am (English). If you can give me a rough price guide for anything like a can of coke, beer, Mars Bar. 3 Course meal, bottle claret etc? Many thanks to you if you do reply.
