Oscar De La Hoya enters rehab for substance abuse, would this create a thorn to his current image?

Money is not the issue with this kind of depression. It is the reality that he can no longer go back to the days of glory in his chosen carreer. His recent losses attest to that fact, and it's hard to swallow, so, he turns to drugs. His record and iconic figure should not be a factor nor be diminished. In fact, he should be applauded for taking the right steps in correcting his mistake before it gets worse.
