Cant remember this movie i saw on an airplane?

it was about this little boy who had a crush on this girl. he always was on this skooter with big wheels, and he went to karate to try and impress the girl her name was rose i think? do you guys no what movie it could be? have any idea? it was a romantic movie, i was like 9 when i saw it when i got to that channel it already started i remember watching all the credits just to find the name of the movie but it never came up? i forgot about it. maybe you guys watched it? do you know what its called?
